Parts Analyst

If you are passionate about Parts and the Heavy Equipment Industry then we want to hear from you In this role, the Parts Analysts is primarily responsible for gathering and analyzing spare parts data, looking at competitive market trends and related financial results. Statistical information and analysis are provided to National Parts Manager in order to develop spare parts forecasts, strategies and establish forecast/demand planning by region, with the goal of increased sales, reduced costs and improved business efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reviews analytics, trends, forecasts and campaign strategies with National Parts and Logistics Manger to promote growth and sales of spare parts.
- Drive data quality, dissemination, and interpretation for business development and product introduction.
- Provide market segment data, economic trends and competitor analysis for spare part sales and customer service activity.
- Improve standard processes and procedures to increase spare parts sales and margins.
- Conduct and present industry analysis for comparative performance purposes and overall strategy focus.
- Provide financial analysis and support Parts Manager to ensure that accounting/business reporting requirements are met.
- Interact with sales, service, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
- Creates purchase orders based on forecasts and/or orders.
- Create, maintain and update initial stock order lists as per LCA identified KPI's.
- Assists with all inventory control measures and initiatives.
- Analyze machine population by region to ensure proper stock to support that population, both initial stock and major component.
- Liaises interdepartmentally to ensure correct parts planning and maximum fulfillment of customer order requirements.
- Analyze slow/ non -moving parts in inventory and recommends and enters parts return requests.
- Maintains constant communication with branch/parts managers to ensure stocking items are meeting or exceeding the required expectations.
- Maintains and oversees company parts “item master” ensuring that all parameters are correct and up-to
- date in Baan, supersession are completed to standard, items families are maintained etc.

**Competencies**:

- At least 3 or more years of experience in business, operations, business development, and sales required
- At leasy 1 or more years of experience in strategy planning analysis.
- Exceptional interpersonal, persuasion & presentational skills.
- Strong collaborative approach to engage at various levels of the organization and ability to influence teams across business units including senior leadership.
- Proficient in data visualization software like Power BI or Excel.
- Background in the heavy equipment industry an asset.
