In-house Videographer

Timberscapes Inc. is a growing arborist company with a passion for trees, the environment, and our community. We’re looking for a creative powerhouse to join our team in-house — someone who can capture our work and culture through stunning photography, video, and drone footage, then bring it to life online through engaging posts and professional editing.

**About the Role**:
You’ll be our visual storyteller — capturing the action, the environment, and the people behind the work. This role requires regular site visits (2-4 times per week) to film and photograph our crew in action, edit both short
- and long-form content, and manage our social media presence across platforms.

We’re looking for someone who thrives outside the office, has a strong creative eye, and wants to help shape a brand that values people and the outdoors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Visit job sites multiple times per week to film and photograph tree work, equipment in use (e.g., grapple saw crane), and the crew at work
- Edit short-form vertical content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
- Produce long-form horizontal YouTube videos (project features, client education, behind-the-scenes)
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- Manage a content calendar and coordinate themes with the team
- Write engaging captions and support community engagement by responding to comments/messages
- Track performance metrics and provide monthly updates
- Attend occasional community events (e.g., parades, farmers markets) to capture content

**What You Bring**:

- Strong videography and editing skills
- Experience with video editing software
- Understanding of both short-form vertical and long-form horizontal video formats and their platforms
- Social media management experience (especially Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube)
- Self-directed, reliable, and creative
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and around equipment
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

**Details**:

- Part-time: 20-25 hours per week to start (with room to grow)
- Flexible schedule — site visits required multiple times per week
- Remote editing and posting with regular on-site content capture
- Paid hourly — compensation based on experience
