Security Building Supplies in Regina, Saskatchewan has an opportunity for a Door Shop / Saw Shop Worker to join our team. This person will report to the Operations Manager.

**Duties**:

- Work as a team in Door Shop to assemble and machine interior door systems
- Work as a team in Saw Shop to cut lumber to customer specifications
- Accurately assemble door systems to specification which includes machining, measuring, and installation of glass and hardware
- Use of hand/power tools (mitre saws, table saws, drills, etc.)
- Prepare and set up machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturing and cutting
- Lift wood pieces onto machines
- Listen for unusual sounds or detect excessive vibration in machinery
- Ensure that tools and machines are operating properly and safely at all times
- Select and adjust the proper cutting tools for completing a job
- Use hand tools to trim pieces or assemble products
- Ensuring workspace and production areas are kept clean, safe, and organized
- Other duties as assigned by Operation Manager

**Skills and Abilities required**:

- Previous door manufacturing experience is an asset
- Use of hand/air tools (mitre saws, table saws, drills, etc.)
- Reading English and following work orders
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift excess of 50lbs
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Safely meet production targets while working with others
- A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to change
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
