**Family Support Coordinator - Solo with Supports**

The Solo with Supports program is a community-based program that assesses and teaches life and living skills to teens requiring additional support as they transition to adulthood. The Solo with Supports (SWS) program has expanded the work they do with the families of the young people who enter the program. To support this work, we are seeking to hire a full-time (40 hours per week) SWS Family Support Coordinator.

**_ The above positions require a diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care or a related field & a minimum of 2 years experience in Child and Youth Care or a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Community Rehabilitation, etc._**

**Requirements of the position include, but are not limited to**:

- Participating in training related to supporting parents’ development.
- Establishing therapeutic relationships with parents of clients which allow parents to share openly about current circumstances within the family setting.
- Assisting parents with adopting parenting strategies and self-care practices.
- Administrative paperwork, contact notes, maintaining effective communication within the service team.

**Additional Important Hiring Requirements**:

- A current (within 6 months) Criminal Record (Police) or RCMP criminal record check.
- Alberta Child Intervention Record Check. (within 6 months)
- Ability to be added to Chimo’s fleet insurance, which includes: 3 years’ driving history with no at-fault claims (Provided by a claims experience letter from your insurance), $2 million liability insurance (Use for work), and no more than 2 current convictions on your driving record.

**Salary, Benefits, Holidays**:
The annual salary range for this position is $55,584 to $56,784 based on 40 hours of work per week, this position is Monday-Friday. Agency health and dental benefits begin after 3 months of employment. Staff get 10 paid sick days and 15 holidays per calendar year.

**Pay**: $55,584.00-$56,784.00 per year

**Schedule**: 8 hour day shift, Monday-Friday, On-call (required)
