We are looking to expand our team and recruit an entry level Application Specialist to work with our team in Mississauga. As Application Specialist you will be responsible for testing the Hardware and Software developed by the Research and Development (R&D) department.

You will act as the voice of the customer for R&D when developing / testing new features and products and play a major role to play in evolving and implementing efficient DevOps and Verification & Validation initiatives.

**Main skills required for R&D Application Specialist**:

- Degree or Diploma in Science, Engineering or related discipline. Geophysics experience would be beneficial but not necessary.
- Co-op experience in scientific / testing role is preferred and experience collecting scientific data in a field environment would be beneficial.
- Technical writing experience (testing reports, technical procedures)
- Experience with 3rd party software packages Windows OS, Android OS, Linux OS, Corporate ERP Systems, Python, Kotlin, etc. would be great but not essential.
