**Job Summary**
As an Operating Room packer your job will be to ensure the efficient and accurate inspection of all linen in preparation for pack makeup for sterilization. After careful inspection, linen that is of the highest quality standard will be prepared and packaged for the operating rooms of various hospitals across Southwestern Ontario.
- Please note, LHLS is separate entity from municipal hospitals and this position is ideal for individual who have experience or an interest in manufacturing._
**Schedule**
- Days - 6:30am to 3:00pm - Monday to Friday
**Responsibilities**
- Inspect large linen over light table and gowns with light wand
- Ensure linen meets our quality standards ands remove and items with defects
- Scan items for tracing
- Generate a report of O.R. pack items from our ERP system
- Properly load O.R. pack for sterilization
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Very strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for 10 hours and complete repetitive tasks that require good hand dexterity
- Availability for mandatory overtime
- Computer literacy
- 1-2 professional reference
**Bonus Points**:
- Experience in QA/QC
- Previous work history in food, pharmaceutical and or healthcare device manufacturing
