**Position Summary**:
This is a permanent position approximately 32 hours per week Monday to Friday and may include an occasional Saturday shift.

**Position Responsibilities**:
Greet clients and their pets in a friendly manner upon their arrival.

Set up new patient files & assist with maintaining current files.

Book appointments and surgeries.

Order medical, office & surgical supplies, food and medications.

Prepare & complete client invoices.

Contact clients regarding upcoming appointments/reminders.

Collaborate among all members of the team daily including fellow Receptionists, Managers, Registered Veterinary Technicians, Veterinarians and Kennel Attendants.

**Position Requirements**:
Excellent communication, customer service experience, multi-tasking abilities, & interpersonal and organization skills.

Experience as a Veterinary Receptionist is not required.

**Preferred Requirements**:
Minimum of one year of customer service experience and/or Medical office experience.

Avimark experience is considered an asset.

Medical terminology knowledge is considered an asset.
