**Job Purpose**
The Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the Digital Media strategy to increase brand awareness and improve marketing efforts. The Digital Communications Specialist creates engaging content to publish on various media outlets that would highlight the Iron Will Raw brand.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
The Digital Communications Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Forecast, generate, publish, and monitor goal-driven advertising campaigns on multiple platforms like Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and more.
- Create and manage digital communications to end users and retail partners.
- Determine KPIs for your campaigns and hit/exceed them with routine efficiency.
- Monitor social media Insights, Google, and website analytics to establish the ongoing effects of advertising efforts.
- Report thoroughly and directly to management on your efforts.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to align brand integrity across all platforms.
**Education Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing, or a related field required.
- Post-Graduate education in Communications, Public Relations, or web/social media certification, considered an asset.
- Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta certification as well as any other industry-relevant accreditations.
**Competencies**
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role required.
- WordPress experience required.
- HubSpot and Fishbowl experience considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the pet food industry considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript considered an asset.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
- Strong understanding of the Google Ads platform (Paid Search/SEM, Display Advertising, YouTube etc.).
- Comprehensive understanding of Paid Social (Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms).
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics GA4, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in paid media.
- Flexible and adaptable in learning new paid media strategies & new platforms/software.
