Job description The **Site Superintendent** role will be responsible for overseeing trades and effectively managing daily on-site activities. This individual must possess the knowledge, experience, and confidence to engage and professionally interact with sub-contractors and other construction related personnel and report to the Project Manager. **Qualifications & Knowledge**: - Minimum 3 years’ as a Site Superintendent with experience in multi-family low rise residential projects is required - Possess effective communication skills - Ability to effectively lead the site team - Post-Secondary Degree in construction related program is preferred - Working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel and other construction software. **Responsibilities**: - Manage work on site to ensure the compliance of construction drawings and specifications - Ensure all certificates and final inspections have been obtained prior to project close out - Determine material quantities - Maintain inspections, reports and other site documents - Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control including deficiency lists - Maintain a safe job site and ensure that the requirements of Occupational Health and Safety and WCB are enforced - Meet with Owners, Consultants and Architects in a professional manner - Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and suppliers - Prepare look ahead schedules on a weekly basis for distribution subcontractors and suppliers - Monitor and maintain the project construction schedule on a weekly basis - Order and/or receive any needed material and equipment - Maintain control and responsibility for the security of the job site - Monitor work performance - Advise Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences and schedule difficulties - Complete and maintain all daily logs - Identify items to be submitted as Request for Information (RFIs) to the Architect/Engineer - Update “as-built" conditions or changes in contract documents and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers for implementation - Work with trades and suppliers in reviewing, planning, coordinating and supervising their tasks and deliverables for the construction project **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $80,000.00-$150,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off - Profit sharing - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay **Experience**: - construction: 1 year (preferred) **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $90,000.00-$140,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off - Profit sharing - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay - Signing bonus
