**Patient Transport is hiring a full-time custodian. Applicants must be 18+ and possessing of a class 5F Drivers license; no other experience is required Applicants are expected to bring a positive attitude, and willingness to learn as we offer a fully paid training program.**

Patient Transport Services is a healthcare company dedicated to meeting the needs of patients. We transport those in need to various medical facilities across our province.

This role is essential to maintaining a safe environment for those we transport. By professionally sanitizing and detailing all transport units, devices and equipment, our custodians ensure Patient Transport can offer help to those in need of our services.

**Duties include**:

- Decontaminating and cleaning of medical transport equipment.
- Detailing and bio-disinfection of stretcher transport units.
- Sanitizing of stretchers and related transport equipment
- Inspecting equipment
- Maintaining complete records pertaining to the condition of equipment after performing an inspection.
- Fueling of the transportation units
- Delivering medical equipment to team members out in the field
- Stocking PPE and other medical equipment
- Adhering to all PTS Safety & Operational procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- General at base cleaning and minor maintenance

**Personal Skills**:

- Strong communication skills.
- Detail oriented and meticulously organized.
- Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
- Ability to learn and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to interact well with others.
- Must work with accuracy & attention to detail

**Requirements**:

- Class 5F Drivers license
- must upgrade to a class 4F soon after commencing employment
- Ability to lift and move heavy pieces of equipment.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist constantly throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to reach, lift and ascend/descend stairs easily and without restrictions.
