Cornerstone Weddings is seeking a part-time AV Technician Assistant who will be responsible for setting up audio and visual equipment for weddings and events at Cornerstone Theatre and their new venue at the Canmore Nordic Centre. The person in this role will report directly to the Production Manager.

We are looking for someone who can work 2-3 hours a day (daytime shift), 1-3 days per week (availability pending). Wage will depend on experience and skill level.

Qualifications:

- Some flexibility can be given with working hours, either mornings or early afternoons.
- Must be physically capable to perform the tasks of the job, which involve standing for periods of time (up to 2 hours), bending, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 30lbs. at a time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Providing AV set-up for events, including, but not limited to, setting up and testing microphones, marquee lights, neon signs, light settings, photobooth, cold sparklers, monogram, screen and projector, setting up and testing LED dancefloor and setting up a wooden dancefloor.
- Assisting with the general maintenance of the equipment if required.
- Advising on the status of current equipment if anything is broken or missing.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace, and upholding safety standards and documentation.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
