The Advanced Quality Manager will lead our quality management efforts and oversee the quality management processes during the early stages of product development. This role is critical to ensuring that quality compliance is built into processes right from the design phase through to the start of production. The Advanced Quality Manager will collaborate closely with product design, tool design, manufacturing engineering, and supply chain teams to define and validate quality standards, reduce risks, and drive continuous improvement in both pre-production and production activities. The Advanced Quality Manager will promote a culture of quality across the organization by leading by example and fostering quality awareness among all team members.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Lead the development and implementation of quality plans, strategies, and objectives for new products during the design and development phases.
- Collaborate with product design, manufacturing and advanced engineering, and project management teams to define quality requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs) for new products.
- Collaborate with the various teams to translate customer and regulatory requirements into actionable quality standards for new products.
- Lead the identification and assessment of potential quality risks during the design and development phases, using tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Risk Assessment, and other proactive methods.
- Work with engineering groups and design teams to implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure that identified risks are addressed before production begins.
- Ensure that products meet all applicable industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001).
- Develop and maintain robust documentation for product quality standards, specifications, and process requirements for all new products.
- Work with the cross-functional team to integrate quality control methodologies (e.g., Design for Quality, DFMEA) into the product development lifecycle.
- Ensure that the pre-production processes adhere to both internal and external regulatory and compliance standards.
- Ensure that all verification and validation activities are completed and documented properly.
- Ensure that all pre-production activities are aligned with established quality benchmarks and are scalable for mass production.
- Support the Advanced Quality Specialists on quality-related matters during the pre-production phase, ensuring clear communication between product development, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on pre-production quality metrics, risk status, and progress of pre-production quality activities.
- Lead reviews to assess the quality of new products and processes, ensuring that all quality requirements are met before moving to full production.
- Train and mentor cross-functional teams on quality standards, pre-production processes, and best practices to ensure that quality is maintained throughout the development phase.
- Lead and mentor a team of advanced quality specialists, providing guidance on quality techniques, problem-solving, and process improvement.
- Partner with the procurement and supply chain teams to evaluate, select, and qualify suppliers for materials, components, and services required for new products.
- Support supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications.
- Support supplier quality ensuring timely resolution of supplier quality issues and driving supplier improvements when necessary.
- Work closely with manufacturing and advanced engineering teams to ensure that quality is maintained during production through the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC), process validations, and robust inspection protocols.
