Quality Supervisor

Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for an Quality Supervisor in our Tillsonburg, Ontario Cold Stamping Facility. The Quality Supervisor is responsible for providing daily directions to the QA department and ensuring the quality of parts and management system is being followed.The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a stamping environment, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities

- Supervise Quality team leads, auditors and weld destruct in the execution of the Quality Management System

- Review and prioritize the allocation of resources within the Quality Department

- Oversee the inspection and testing of products to ensure compliance to specified quality standards

- Actively participate in New Model Activities

- Lead training and development of auditors and destruct team including ongoing training to strengthen teams knowledge in support of Customer Specific Requirements to satisfy IATF

- Ensure good record keeping as per our Quality Management System in compliance with IATF and Customer Specific Requirements

- Work closely with Production and Engineering to resolve quality concerns and improve processes

- Assist with investigations of non-conformances using root cause analysis methods (ie. 5Y, Pareto Analysis, Statistical Analysis) in conjunction with Quality Specialists and Engineers

- Analyze quality data to identify trends and recurring issues, implementing corrective action as necessary

- Generate reports from Quality Systems to support monthly KPI reporting

- Provide training on principles pertaining to the Quality Management System within the quality team and support training of Production team members on Quality requirements

- Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook

Minimum Qualifications

- Post-secondary Education in Quality Management preferred or equivalent years of experience

- Minimum 5 years Quality experience in an Automotive Environment

- Willingness to work overtime as needed

- Must have knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, SPC and MSA)

Preferred Qualifications

- Solid Metrology background with good working knowledge of applicable measuring devices

The pay range for this role is $30.00/hour to $35.00/hour.
