We are looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team. If you’re passionate about travel, social media and digital marketing, then this is the position for you.

We are a leading internship and working holiday placement provider and a Recognized Organization (RO) by the Government of Canada. We provide exceptional, life-changing travel and work experiences to inspire Canadian youth to go abroad and foreign nationals to come to Canada.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and develop our social channels, seek new social media avenues and develop strategies to connect our brands with their respective online customers based on insights & data. If you pride yourself on having a keen eye for great content, a strong pulse on new trends, and impeccable attention to detail, then we want to hear from you

Reporting to the digital marketing manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Plan, curate and schedule regular content on our social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Community engagement on social posts and story tags
- Brainstorm and implement social media advertising campaigns
- Proactively engage on social media channels to grow reach
- Weekly reporting on social media KPIs, campaigns and wider industry trends
- Analyzing and improving social media strategy on an on-going basis
- Collaborate with our past and present clients to create content
- Support and contribute to the launch of company ambassador program
- Launch TikTok and proactively engage to grow reach
- Research strategic opportunities
- Assist the greater marketing team on additional ad hoc projects

- Passionate about travel with an interest to encourage that passion in others
- Eager to learn
- A skilled communicator and writer
- A self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Creative with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail
- A resourceful problem solver - you are agile to the changing social media landscape
- Able to work effectively in a team but also self-motivated

**DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Have recently completed or are currently completing a degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or related field
- Experience in content creation on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok & LinkedIn
- Experience with graphic tools like Canva and Photoshop is a plus
- Have lived or travelled abroad is a plus
- Fast learner, independent worker
