They are currently seeking an experienced **Assistant Controller** to join their dynamic team.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage job costing, project financials, and WIP schedules.
- Oversee cash flow management and financial risk assessment.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and reporting.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- ** Bachelors degree** in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CPA designation in progress is a plus.
- ** 5+ years of accounting experience**, with at least 3 years in the construction or real estate development industry.
- Strong knowledge of **GAAP, job costing, and construction accounting software** (e.g., Sage 300, Viewpoint, Yardi, or Procore).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
