Overview:
**Duties**:

- Plan and facilitate recreational activities for residents, such as games, crafts, and outings
- Engage with residents to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation
- Assist in organizing events and special programs tailored to the interests of seniors
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities meet the needs of residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment during recreational sessions

**Skills**:

- Experience or interest in caregiving, dementia care, assisted living, or senior care
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and staff
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with older adults
- Ability to adapt activities to suit varying levels of physical and cognitive abilities
- Knowledge of nursing home recreational programs is a plus
