We are currently looking for an **Electrical Purchaser **to join our team

The Electrical Purchaser’s primary function will be to source, order, and maintain an inventory of various parts and components required for production and avoid material shortages. The purchasing expeditor agent will also be required to follow up on orders to maintain and update delivery schedules. Inventory parts will include electrical, mechanical, and consumables.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- 2+ years of supply chain/purchasing/expediting experience
- Visual software would be an asset
- Enhanced ability to multi-task numerous projects concurrently.
- Self-motivated, able to manage volume and tight deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Results-oriented mindset and demonstrated ability to evaluate information from multiple sources to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Superior analytical skills and ability to develop recommendations and strategic solutions from data/information.
- Well-organized and able to balance multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
- Self-motivated while still working within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with project managers and purchasing team to determine purchasing requirements for all manufacturing projects.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor them with vendors to maintain on-time delivery
- Order components for assembly, and meet production deadlines.
- Establish and maintain a critical component inventory to prevent unnecessary shortages.
- Work with current suppliers and sub-contractors while sourcing and cultivating relationships with new ones
- Search and establish new suppliers that offer more competitive prices
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders of raw materials, supplies, services, and plant equipment.
- Manage open purchase orders including on-time delivery and expediting when needed.
- Build relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure processes and/or capabilities align with the organization's needs.
- Escalate supply issues in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Project Management where supply issues may affect on-time delivery to the customer.
- Monitor changes in the supply base and proactively manage potential impact on future supply

Pay: $55,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
