**Security Guard - On call**

B300 Security LTD. is fast, up and coming security company in British Columbia. As we continue to expand, we are looking to grow our team with employees who are capable of meeting our expectations.

We are currently seeking to hire Security Guards to work in event security. The guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the property, customers, workers, public and all assets, while working in the best interests of the brand. The guard will act in a customer service focused role while also serving as a visible deterrent to unwanted behaviors and people.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing both a physical security presence and a customer service demeanor.
- Problem solving skills, Conflict resolution and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Deterrence of undesired behavior and/or criminal activity.
- Maintaining a level of professionalism is stressful situations.
- Enforcing property regulations, Criminal Code and legislative statutes.
- Completing detailed and comprehensive incident reports through our online reporting systems.

**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- Must possess valid BC Security License
- Possess a valid BC Drivers license (Considered an asset but may be necessary for remote sites)
- Excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
- Strong communication skills, verbally and written
- Effective problem-solving skills and conflict resolution, with the ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Has a keen sense of being alert and aware of personal surroundings.
- Demonstrates a high level of honesty and integrity in all aspects of job performance.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Experience in managing physical confrontation and or restraining individuals.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is an asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
