We are seeking a passionate and ambitious HR and Office Administrator to join our team. Reporting into the HR Manager, the HR and Office Administrator will support the employee lifecycle, HR culture Initiatives, and employee experience. In addition to being an employee relations resource, you will effectively assist and facilitate HR operations, while performing a wide range of administrative duties. You will act as a contact person on issues related to company policy, employee feedback, HRIS updated, health and safety, and will be implementing various programs to attract, retain and develop top talent.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Respond to Human Resources-related inquiries
- Update and maintain new hire and current employee information through the company’s HRIS
- Register and revise employee information on our benefits portal system
- Assist with payroll by setting up employees or updating payment details into payroll processing system
- Engage in Health and Safety Walkthroughs and attend JHSC meetings
- Participate in the organization’s social committee
- Maintain and improve the company’s Applicant Tracking System, BreezyHR
- Develop, review, and post Job Descriptions through the ATS
- Conduct reception and office maintenance duties
- Coordinate travel bookings
- Any other administrative duties as required

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Completed post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
- 1+ years experience in a similar role or capacity
- Holds a CHRP or similar designation or working towards it’s achievement
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- In depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems
- Awareness of OH&S regulations and compliance
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
- Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
