Bar Susu is currently searching for a passionate individual to fill the role of Assistant Manager**.**
START DATE: Immediately
This position is FULL TIME; 40 hrs per week

**POSITION OVERVIEW**
As the Assistant Manager, you will assist in the overall success and profitability of the restaurant. Your role will include executing strategies to drive the business forward, ensuring exceptional product quality and service, fostering a positive work culture, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including the General Manager, leadership team, culinary team, staff, partners, and customers, to achieve the restaurant's goals and uphold its brand.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education and Experience**: A blend of 3+ years of education and hands-on experience in hospitality management with a proven track record of success.
**Leadership Skills**: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, consistently embodying company values, standards, policies, and procedures. Essential experience in supervising and training staff, delegating responsibilities, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
**Organizational Expertise**: Effective organizational and time management skills, demonstrating proficiency in handling multiple tasks. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and ensure seamless restaurant operations while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
**Industry Knowledge**: Profound understanding of the food and beverage industry, restaurant operations, and a genuine passion for it. WSET training is considered a significant advantage.
**Customer Service Focus**: Hospitality-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to address guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
**Communication Skills**: Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to actively listen and convey information accurately and professionally with staff, guests, suppliers, and ownership.
**Problem-Solving Aptitude**: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the confidence to analyze situations, identify issues, and implement solutions promptly and efficiently.
**Resilience**: Resilience in the face of challenges and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a positive attitude.
