Your Opportunity:
Working independently and reporting to the Facility Manager, the MWIV in conjunction with Facilities Operations Center provides 24 hour maintenance and operations to the site. The MWIV monitors and responds to all facility life safety, emergency, mechanical, electrical, architectural and grounds situations carrying out maintenance or repair tasks, and performing housekeeping duties. The position must be familiar with, understand and operate a multitude of different building systems and be familiar with all departmental and site processes and procedures.

Description:
As a Maintenance Worker IV, you will perform a variety of highly skilled and complex maintenance and repair work requiring considerable initiative and judgment in determining the appropriate work methods consistent with standards, regulations and procedures. You will utilize your supervisory and/or maintenance skills and experience to perform preventative maintenance and repair duties on specialized equipment and building control systems, and to provide leadership and direction to other maintenance staff in order to meet operational requirements. In addition, you will perform specialized machine repairs, as well as the maintenance and monitoring of systems and equipment. You may be responsible to resolve escalated operational issues; act as a delegate for the Manager on operational issues; participate in the recruitment and selection of new staff; assisting the design and implementation of preventative maintenance programs; estimate project costs; and liaise with outside agencies and contractors.
