Newton Group Ltd. is looking for a **Recruitment Specialist**on a full-time, permanent basis. This will be a on-site role in Guelph, ON.

**The role**

Working alongside the HR Manager, the Recruitment Specialist will drive various recruitment initiatives while working closely with hiring managers. You will operate as the recruitment marketing specialist, propelling the business to new heights. Key responsibilities include:

- Conduct resume screening, initial interviews, and reference checks
- Collaborate on job descriptions and manage postings
- Conduct intakes with division heads to build job profiles and determine requirements
- Track all applicants on internal ATS
- Schedule interviews - in person and virtual
- Attend trade shows, job fairs, and other industry specific events
- Assist with wage and salary analysis
- Draft offer packages
- Provide administrative support to HR
- Provide marketing support as required

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years experience in recruitment/talent acquisition
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems
- Knowledge of Ontario and Canadian recruitment legislation
- Proven ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task without compromising on quality
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Dependable and punctual
- Proficient with MS Suite

**Nice to have**
- Experience in human resources considered an asset
- Construction industry experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of website platforms considered an asset
