Position: Youth Worker Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to lead our team of Youth Workers as a Youth Worker Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of support to vulnerable youth, ensuring the implementation of trauma-informed approaches, conflict management strategies, and verbal de-escalation techniques. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding our team to effectively communicate with youth, their families, and other stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership**: Lead, mentor, and support a team of Youth Workers, providing guidance and direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to youth.
- **Program Development**: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement innovative programs and services that meet the needs of vulnerable youth in our community.
- **Case Management**: Oversee the development and implementation of individualized support plans for youth, ensuring that goals are set and progress is monitored effectively.
- **Training and Development**: Facilitate training sessions for staff to enhance their skills in mental health, trauma-informed care, conflict resolution, and other relevant areas.
- **Collaboration and Networking**: Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance support services for youth.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Manage administrative duties related to scheduling, reporting, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the youth services sector, with a strong understanding of mental health, trauma-informed approaches, and conflict management.
- **Education**: A completed degree relevant to the field, such as Child & Youth Worker, Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline.
- **Credentials**: Possession of a valid NVIC, with recent Vulnerable Sector & Child welfare checks.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with youth, families, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- **Leadership Abilities**: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the program and staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
