**Advanced Bending Technologies**is looking for an experienced and energetic **Helper 2**to join our Shop in Langley, BC.

The **Helper 2** provides support to the Production process and plays a key role in ensuring that ABT effectively and efficiently produces product safely, on-time, and meeting customer requirements.

**Essential Functions for this Role are**:

- Interpret work orders
- Handle raw material and finished product as needed
- Perform production bending after setup completed
- Perform other shop duties including grooving, torch cutting, saw cutting, washing, sand filling, etc.
- Measure and inspect in-process and finished product
- Label and package finished product as needed
- Perform machine workstation upkeep
- Shop cleaning and upkeep
- Assist with shipping and receiving
- Work in accordance with the safety management program and the quality management system
- Complete all applicable quality records

**Experience, Qualifications, and Skills required**:

- Minimum Grade 10 or equivalent
- Shop procedures
- Material handling experience
- Able to accurately read a tape measure
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and persuasively
- Self-starter, with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Detail-oriented, analytical, with good organizational skills
- Quick study, proactive, solutions oriented
- Innovative and open to new concepts
- Interested in assisting the growth of the company, increasing efficiency and service, and increasing the effectiveness of the team as a whole
