Customer Care Coordinator

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Close collaboration with sales team to convert sales proposals to sales orders in Epicor
- Work with customer financing companies to help facilitate a seamless funding transaction
- Ensure correct sales taxes are charged on invoices and ensure appropriate customer documentation is received and retained for any exceptions
- Finalize and ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customers
- Provide information to Finance for preparation of accrual entries in the event invoicing does not meet cut-off requirements
- Understand key customer proposal terms and ensure customer adherence - prepayment deposit (invoices), milestone and final payments
- Preparing all necessary paperwork throughout process (customs, equipment registration documentation)
- Preparing and distributing weekly and monthly customer reports
- Periodic review and update of customer data (legal name, ship-to, etc) stored in the ERP system, based on established formatting and entry protocols.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**:
- Post-secondary education would be an asset.
**Experience**:
- 2-4 years’ experience with customer service and sales order entry
- Experience working with MRP systems is an asset
- Experience with sales orders in relation to sale of equipment preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting
**Specific skills and knowledge requirement**:
- Good understanding of Incoterms
- Good understanding of cross-border import / export documentation requirements
- Good understanding of business financing transactions (working with leasing companies)
- Excellent communication, negotiation and decision-making skills
- Proficient with MS Office
- Familiar with MRP systems and principles
- Familiarity with CRM systems (ie. Salesforce) would be an asset
- Foundational knowledge of sales taxes and requirements for invoicing
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize with strong organizational skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment coupled with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail
