**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager of Street Operations, the Street Team Operator is responsible for the implementation of a combination of the Calgary Downtown Association’s Rapid Response Clean Street Program including Litter and waste collection, Graffiti removal, front-facing customer service representation and beautification of the Stephen Avenue Mall corridor. These roles are presently planned for a term of 6 months. There is a strong opportunity for extension as well as permanent employment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily cleaning of streets, sidewalks, and other public areas
- Operate mobile cleaning equipment such as a UTV, Golf Cart and side by side units
- Collect and dispose of litter and debris in designated waste receptacles
- Report any hazards or damages to direct supervisor
- Respond to public inquiries and provide a high level of customer service
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols including appropriate PPE
- Represent CDA on street with a positive, outgoing and approachable mindset
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisors.

**Qualifications**:

- Physical stamina and ability to perform daily tasks for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work Outdoors
- Ability to work within a team to achieve success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess an Alberta Driver’s License and a clean driving record

**Pre-Employment Screening Requirements**:Successful completion of Police Check, and a clean Driver Abstract.
