- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment room, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and medical terminology is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
