**Position Description**:
**Project Coordinator - Department of Psychiatry **_(18 month contract)_

Linked to our ambitious Mental Health Strategy and within the Brain and Mental Health Program, the Department of Psychiatry is responding to unprecedented growth in mental health needs across the many paediatric populations we serve. Tasked with the mandate to continue enhancing and expanding the work of integrating physical and mental health, the Department is undertaking various initiatives and improvements to put this mandate into action.

Reporting to the Outpatient Psychiatry Senior Clinical Manager, the project coordinator will play a vital role in supporting these operational and strategic components within the Department of Psychiatry.

**_What You Will Get To Do:_**
- Support Senior Clinical Manager with strategic and operational initiatives and work within the Dept of Psychiatry
- Support Associate Chief of Psychiatry and Senior Clinical Manager in day-to-day activities such as development of presentations, documentation, data synthesis and various committee meeting coordination
- Support various Mental Health Strategy related projects that involve the Dept of Psychiatry which can include supporting implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Perform and/or support current state assessments, gap analysis and workflow mapping to understand and improve existing processes; aligning it with Dept's current goals and mandate
- Assist in the development of communication materials intended for stakeholder and sponsors; monitor, track and provide written or verbal updates on projects and initiatives

**_ What You Will Need:_**
- A post secondary degree from a recognized University of College
- Minimum 3 years of administrative/leadership experience
- Experience in the healthcare/hospital environment is preferred
- Experience working in project management/coordination
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams that include internal employees as well as external partners and stakeholders
- Exemplary communication (both verbal and written)
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Creative, adaptable, resilient, self-directed, innovative, result and detail oriented
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Superior time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines.
- Highly proficient in computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365 Applications, SharePoint

Temporary, Full-time 1.0 FTE with modified benefits (18 month contract)
