**HR coordinator job Duties Include**:

- Preparation, revising and drafting company policies and confidential documents
- Maintaining a database of job descriptions
- Assisting with training and development which includes building and executing onboarding processes
- Maintaining new hire files to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Participating on the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC)
- Ensure all divisions are up-to-date and comply with current, new and upcoming employment legislations
- Act as the company liaison with local unions with respect to unionized worker requests/referrals, apprenticeships and related worker issues.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years’ experience as in Human resources or talent acquisition an asset
- Graduate of college of university HR program or advanced experience
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, methods and legislation
- Intermediate English (verbal and written)
- Advanced computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to be highly professional and confidential

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
