As a Breakfast Cook, you are responsible for preparing high-quality and consistent menu items that leave our guests satisfied and eager to return. **A day in the life**
- Prepare and present high-quality, consistent breakfast items in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Complete all opening duties and daily prep work to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ensure proper stocking, labelling, and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet service demands and exceed guest expectations
- Support overall kitchen operations, including inventory, restocking, and closing tasks as required

**What we hope you'll bring to the team**
- At least one year of culinary experience, ideally in a breakfast or high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong self-motivation and accountability, with a focus on consistency and high standards
- Excellent attention to detail and clear, professional communication skills
- Proven time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced morning setting
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Availability for early morning shifts, typically from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm or 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, weekends required
- Reliable transportation to and from Brentwood Bay Resort is essential
