The Learning & Development Consultant is key in supporting our employees with upskilling and learning opportunities. This hands-on position will design, deliver, maintain, and evaluate training programs. You will be challenged daily, and your contributions will directly strengthen our retention, succession & development programs all within a multi-faceted municipal setting. - You have excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. - Your ability to listen, influence and build trust help you achieve positive outcomes. - You are resourceful, a problem-solver, take initiative, and a team player. - You have good knowledge & understanding of talent management programs and adult learning. - You can flex, juggle multiple priorities & shift priorities quickly. - You have a strong service orientation & are comfortable in responding to the needs of others. **Qualifications** - Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field from a recognized post-secondary institution. - Five (5) years directly related experience as a human resources practitioner, preferably in a unionized environment.
