**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead, motivate and coach production team members to ensure quality standards and production schedule objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Plan and establish daily work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet daily production targets.
- Monitor productivity throughout the shift and adjust tasks, timing, equipment set-up, or inputs so that production specifications are met, and resources are used efficiently. Prepare production reports on a timely basis.
- Ensure all staff is trained and cross trained in various roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, guidelines, and BRC policies. Ensure all Team Members are working safety.
- Maintain compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), WSIB protocols, and other health and safety regulations, as necessary.
- Actively engage in the hiring process for new Team Members. Proactively manage poor performance in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Implement 5S initiatives.
- Support Team Leaders and Team Members in the implementation of new products through regular meetings and training.
- Provide support to team members as required.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of secondary school diploma; ideally has a college diploma and/or a Supervisory Certificate.
- Ideally has Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a furniture or store fixture environment.
- A minimum of five (5) years of production experience or relevant experience working in a similar environment and position. Knowledge of the manufacturing operations and techniques including Lean and 5S.
- Proficiency in use of hand tools
- Ability to achieve results and perform work with energy and drive.
- Able to work overtime as required
