The Edmonton EXPO Centre is looking for **Supervisor, Guest Experience **who will be vital to executing the events coming through the venue, including **K-Days** and **Farmfair International. **The Supervisor, Guest Experience will play a key role in creating a positive environment of highly engaged and productive team members. They will oversee hospitality programs and ensure event requirements are being met. The Guest Experience team members are required to work outside in the parking lots and inside the EXPO building.
- Welcoming guests, clients and staff with courtesy, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Ensuring staff understand their work duties and have the tools/equipment needed for the job.
- Continuous training, monitoring, and coaching to staff for various Guest Experience positions.
- Assisting with the scheduling, attendance management, and documentation of performance.
- Assisting with box office and coat check operations by assisting with cash floats, balancing deposits, providing refunds, and troubleshooting POS systems.
- Ensuring the internal event space and the parking lot equipment is set up based on event requirements
- Help guide both foot and vehicle traffic inside and outside of the EXPO Centre building
- Drive a fleet vehicle around site to perform outside duties
- Previous supervisory experience is required
- Exceptional team leadership skills and a passion for customer service
- A valid drivers license and may be asked to provide a Driver’s Abstract Report
- The ability to work outdoors in all elements
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- The ability to lift and move equipment up to 50lbs
- Professional manner, good presence and a sense of discretion, diplomacy and tact when handling sensitive situations / information
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
