**Job Requirements**

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

**Tasks**:

- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Order merchandise
- Authorize return of merchandise
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Operate video lottery terminal
- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products

Supervision: 3-4 people, Cashiers, Grocery clerks and shelf stockers, Retail salespersons and sales clerks, Staff in various areas of responsibility

**Other Requirements**

Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system

Security and safety: Basic security clearance

Transportation/travel information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly, Valid driver's licence, Travel expenses not paid by employer, Public transportation is available

Ability to commute/relocate: Kingston, ON. Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
