**Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain facility equipment.
- Diagnose and repair of production equipment, inclusive of mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and plumbing.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Perform and document regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment and plant facilities.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Involved in all aspects of building maintenance requirements for all new construction, renovations or updates to current systems.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Attend meetings as required.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Power Engineer Certificate, 5th, 4th or 3rd Class
- Millwright experience an asset
- Knowledge of electrical systems an asset
- Possess a valid BC driver’s license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- First Aid Level 1 or 2 or certificate is an asset.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments

Pay: $39.07 per hour
