**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
The HR Co-op Student role (contract) is ideal for those currently enrolled in a Human Resources Management Program as it presents an excellent opportunity to practice theoretical knowledge and develop new skills in a business setting. The HR Co-op Student plays a key role in providing support to the Human Resources team.
**THE POSITION**
- Prepare various employment documentation (offer letters, contract extensions, etc.)
- Provide support as requested with completing New Hire/Promotion/Transfer and Departure Procedure Checklists
- Assist with day to day operations of the People and Culture functions and duties
- Support and coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
- Update the Workplace Equity Information Management System and other relevant systems with staffing changes
- Support the team with regard to Compugen's participation in charitable events
- Support the HR Coordinator as needed with orientations and other HR programs
- Conduct relevant research and surveys on an as-needed basis
- Complete cheque requisitions for the Department
- Other general administrative duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Human Resources Management studies in progress
- Enthusiasm, and a positive can-do attitude are a must
- Proven administrative, time management and organizational skills
- Very strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
