**We are currently recruiting a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team**

**What you will be doing**:
As a heavy equipment operator, you will be working on a variety of our job site on our heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, skidsteers. Daily tasks include:

- Reporting directly to the Foreman or Site Supervisor
- Operating heavy construction equipment to perform excavation and site servicing works
- Checking heavy equipment using approved circle check procedures before operating to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
- Communicating any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting.

**Requirements**:

- 2-5 years related experience excavation, landscape, earthworks or infrastructure construction
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to keep and shoot grades with rotary laser is an asset
- A-Z license is an asset

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- excavation: 2 years (required)
- Landscape maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
- infrastructure construction: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
