Warehouse Attendant

The Warehouse Attendant plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the HVAC warehouse by managing inventory, coordinating deliveries and maintaining an organized workspace. This position supports the installation teams by ensuring the timely availability of materials and equipment. The warehouse attendant will also be responsible for fabricating sheet metal used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- picking up equipment in the morning and delivering to the shop
- fabricating sheet metal fittings
- ordering and maintaining shop inventory daily as well as handling returns
- deliveries to job sites and assist installers on site when needed
- maintaining the yard, keeping it clear of garbage and scrap
- staging equipment and supplies for installations must have a clean driving record
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Receive, inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Organize, store and maintain inventory in a clean orderly manner
- Prepare and stage materials for HVAC projects
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors and team members to ensure timely delivery of supplies
- Dispose of materials and waste according to company and regulatory guidelines
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Measure, cut and shape sheet metal materials according to specifications
- Operate machinery to form sheet metal parts
- Assemble ducts, fittings and other HVAC system components
**Schedule**:
- Regular hours (but not limited to) 6am-2pm
- Eight (8) hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
