Join us at an exciting time as we launch a new die plant facility in Windsor, Ontario We are seeking an experienced **Lathe Operator Lead** to help guide lathe operations at our state-of-the-art facility. This role combines hands-on machining with team coordination and leadership to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.

**What You Will Be Doing**

Here’s an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise:

- Perform all duties of a Lathe Operator, including machine setup, operation, inspection, and adjustments.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of lathe operators, promoting safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure operators follow proper procedures.
- Monitor production output and assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Communicate with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams on production status and needs.

**What We're Looking For**
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Proven experience operating CNC or manual lathe machines
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate work among team members
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
