**WANTED: MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR (HVAC/Mechanical)**

We are currently looking for a hard-working individual to join our team as a **Mechanical Estimator.**

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Prepares cost estimates
- Review mechanical drawings and specifications to determine scope of work and contents of estimate
- Communicate with contractors, suppliers and engineers/consultants
- Maintain and monitor all documentation, correspondence.
- Support senior staff with various duties as assigned
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting priorities.
- Follow deadlines to ensure that all bid materials are submitted appropriately and on time.
- Work closely with the Project Management Team for project execution and closing
- Research costs/pricing to determine cost effectiveness
- Approach, discuss and maintain communications with subcontractors and vendors
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**We are looking for individuals with**
- Minimum 3 years estimating within the last 10 years.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Understanding of administrative duties.
- Background knowledge of the construction industry and standard work flows.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative on tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
