Auto Konnect inc - Simplicity Car Care Ottawa is growing and seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Service Estimator / Autobody Appraiser to join our team of experts in offering quality service and superior value that gets our customers back on the road fast.

The Service Estimator / Autobody Appraiser will be the primary point of contact between our customers, as well as the insurance companies we work with including Economical Insurance and the Desjardins General Insurance Group (DGIG). As a crucial member of the team, the Service Estimator / Autobody Appraiser will need to have knowledge of the autobody industry to help our business succeed and continue to be a one-stop-shop for customer vehicle maintenance needs.

It is important that applicants have experience working with insurance companies and using leading collision estimation software including:

- Audatex Estimatics
- Mitchell Cloud Estimating
- SummitCRS Management System

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Manage customer intake and relationships
- Manage relationships and collaborate with insurance appraisers to mutually find solutions for our customers
- Complete collision estimates / autobody appraisals using Audatex and Mitchell collision software according to insurance requirements
- Take required photos of damages in alignment with Simplicity standards and processes
- Use autobody knowledge to identify value-add opportunities during inspections that serve both our customers and the business
- Review insurance assignments and develop work orders for the team to perform
- Plan work using SummitCSR in alignment with Simplicity standards and processes
- Review and forecast Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in alignment with Simplicity requirements
- Conduct month end reporting to be submitted to Simplicity's head office
- Other ad-hoc activities that may exist

Education & Experience Requirements:

- 2-3 years of experience working in the automotive and/or collision repair industry as a Service Estimator / Autobody Appraiser
- 2-3 years of experience with leading collision estimate / planning software (Audatex, Mitchell, SummitCSR)
- Basic understanding of business operations and ability to complete required reporting
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills that are team-oriented
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated with the ability to proactively identify the next task to be completed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Receptive to critical feedback and ability to put feedback into action
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License

On-the-job training will also be provided working alongside shop management and autobody professionals.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
