We are seeking a Prep Cook/Dishwasher - PUR & SIMPLE Breakfast And Lunch to join our team You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation.

**Prep Cook Responsibilities**:

- Assist the head cook by chopping vegetables and washing food items
- Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are ready for use
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment at all times
- Prepare salads, breads, salad dressings and sauces
- Gather food ingredients from the refrigerator/freezer as required by the cook
- Ensure food is stored away properly when not in use
- Study the menu and prepare ingredients ahead of schedule
- Learn about the cooking methods and techniques employed in the kitchen

**Dishwasher Responsibilities**
- Collect all dishes, cutlery, and glasses
- Ensure all dishes, cutlery, and glasses are properly sanitized before further use
- Clean kitchen tools and appliances properly before use
- Assemble food for patrons
- Prepare takeout packages
- Clean kitchen floors, storage areas, and take out the trash
- Keep cupboards and storage area clean and organized

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
- Knowledge of cost and labor systems
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as prep cook.
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
- Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
- Very good physical condition and endurance.

The hours are awesome, no late nights and plenty of free time once your workday is over We offer a competitive salary for this position.

Hours of Operation:
Monday to Sunday
- 7 am until 3 pm

We are looking to fill immediate positions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Internship / Co-op
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
