Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, making salads, and preparing sauces
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Cook food items according to set standards and recipes
- Ensure food is stored properly and at the correct temperature
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

**Skills**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food handling environment
- Knowledge of basic meal preparation techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in assisting the kitchen staff in meal preparation and ensuring that all food items are prepared according to set standards. Your attention to detail, ability to follow recipes, and knowledge of basic cooking techniques will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
