We are looking for a part-time Family Coordinator who is friendly, professional, and capable. You are a self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. You value attention to detail, and have a hands-on, team player approach.

Canoe Therapy is an interdisciplinary pediatric therapy team of Speech-Language Pathology, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Counselling and Behaviour Therapy. We value a family-centered care approach, considering the child and family as a whole and working in collaboration as a team.

Major Responsibilities:

- Professionally greet clients and other visitors in person and on the telephone
- Responsible for the initial contact with all potential clients
- Schedule appointments in a multi-disciplinary clinic
- Matching clients with appropriate therapist
- Managing challenges with a solutions-focused approach
- Providing accurate and timely invoices to clients
- Operate an electronic medical record system
- Answer multi-line telephone system
- Provide general administrative duties

Necessary Qualifications:

- Experience in a similar role
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Calm and pleasant, professional in attitude
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Willingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities n
- Valid driver’s license/vehicle required for occasional errands
- Must have or be able to get a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector
- First Aid Certification and Joint Health and Safety Committee Certification are an asset

Must be able to work a flexible schedule within our clinic hours including some Saturdays.
