The Production Worker may be responsible for preparing, assembling or packing our products in an accurate and efficient manner. - If you are able to work in a cooler, fast paced environment and work under pressure with mínimal supervision, we would love to hear from you - Duties & Responsibilities: - Constantly maintain a clean and safe worksite before, during, and after production activities- - Feed and unload processing machines- - Accurately measure and pour ingredients into proper machinery- - Safely load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment or conveyors- - Product quality checks: specification, packaging, produce, seal integrity- - Dispose of garbage including boxes and bags- - Report any quality defects during production- - Follow and complete production schedule- - Other duties as assigned- Requirements: - Comfortable working in refrigeration- - Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures- - Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner- - Effective verbal and listening communications skills- - Commitment to quality and safety- - Ability to lift up to 30lbs- - Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time- - Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00AM - until finish.At Intercity Packers Meat & Seafood, we believe in good food and good people.
