Established in 1948, Big Freight is a leading Canadian asset-based flatbed and specialized trucking and freight management company with locations in Steinbach and Winnipeg, Manitoba and Innisfil, Ontario. Our services include Flatbed; Super-B; Specialized Van and Logistics solutions throughout Canada and the United States.
Big Freight was the first Canadian carrier to join Daseke, Inc., the largest flatbed and specialized transportation company in North America with a fleet of approximately 5,500 tractors and 11,500 specialized trailers. Daseke is headquartered in Addison, Texas, with 19 operating companies under their umbrella, serving the United States, Canada and Mexico.
**Duties & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Manage the day to day information for your fleet
- Effectively communicate, in a timely manner; with the driver population
- Maximize availability and utilization of the drivers
- Ensuring full compliance and adherence to rules and regulations of your fleet
- Retention of drivers
- Manage inputs into the operating software
- Attention to detail and organization
- Previous experience in the transportation industry
