The Quality Assurance Technician will provide quality assurance services to ensure the integrity of products received and shipped out, services provided to clients, support business and customer needs, and comply with government regulations, industry and OpCo standards.

This position is part of the Quality Assurance team located in London, Ontario and will be on-site.

**In this role, a typical day will look like**:

- Perform dimensional analysis of components to support the part qualification process, and troubleshooting of production issues
- Provide support and input to the part qualification process, routinely working with QA Specialists and Design Engineering
- Support the Service Department by providing timely feedback on returns, as requested
- Support the Quality Assurance Specialists, Service Dept. and Engineering Dept. in identifying product quality/reliability improvement opportunities
- Perform basic statistical analysis to identify quality and reliability trends
- Support the gauge and calibration process; notification of calibration requirements, calibration scheduling and arrangements

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and regulatory standards
- Strong metrology/GD&T skills (CMM experience considered a strong asset)
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Able to create concise technical reports and summaries
- Strong problem solving skills, troubleshooting ability, with experience in a variety of manufacturing processes
- Ability to multi-task and make informed, timely decisions
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- Basic/Intermediate skills in MS Office
- Self-driven, ability to work with little direct supervision
- Diploma or degree in a related technical discipline
- 3-5 years in a Quality Function preferred
- 1-3 years of CMM experience highly preferred

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
