We're looking for skilled, safety-first Ironworkers for a 6-week assignment starting this August in Lanigan, SK. If you have 3-5 years of Ironwork experience demonstrating precision, effective teamwork, and problem-solving, connect with us today

Responsibilities will include:

- Erecting, aligning, and connecting structural steel members (beams, columns, braces, etc.) according to blueprints and erection plans.
- Installing miscellaneous metals such as stairs, handrails, ladders, grating, and platforms.
- Reading and interpreting complex blueprints, shop drawings, and erection diagrams to determine project requirements and layout.
- Performing expert rigging, hoisting, and signaling for the safe movement and placement of heavy steel components and equipment.
- Bolting and torquing connections to specified standards; may involve some fitting and tack welding if appropriately certified and required.
- Performing layout, ensuring proper elevations, plumb, and alignment of steel structures.
- Safely working at heights using appropriate fall protection equipment and procedures.
- Dismantling existing steel structures or components as part of maintenance or upgrade projects.
- Operating relevant tools and equipment (e.g., impact wrenches, grinders, cutting torches, aerial work platforms).
- Strictly adhering to all company and project site safety policies, procedures (including lift plans, fall protection plans), and PPE requirements.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, crane operators, and other tradespersons regarding job progress, lift plans, and any encountered issues.

We Require:

- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as per site requirements.
- Journeyperson Ironworker Certification (Red Seal is an asset).
- 3-5 years of Journeyperson Ironworker experience; experience in mining, heavy industrial construction, or major structural steel projects is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- GMSA.
- WHMIS 2015.
