THE OPPORTUNITY

With exciting new opportunities and partnerships, Impact is seeking an **Electrical Journeyperson,** to join our Commercial Projects Team, based out of our Saskatoon or Rosetown, SKlocations. The Journeyperson will oversee the wiring and installation of all equipment on the project; leading and teaching the Apprentices working with you, as they learn new skills and techniques in the electrical industry; and be willing to work on the road. The shift will vary depending on the project.

Our team would love to hear from you if you have:

- Hold a valid Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as a Construction Electrician
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Eagerness to be great and grow
- Valid and clean class 5 drivers license, endorsements are an asset
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Willing to work away from home, as the project needs
- A safety advocate

**THE WORK**

Well, we do a lot of things Oil & Gas, Mining, Agriculture, Commercial, but today we are focusing on Commercial and Light Industrial Projects. Here we go
- New construction and retrofit projects
- Pulling and terminating wire
- Overseeing the installation of switchgear, cable trays and fire alarm systems
- Installing conduit, outlets and switches
- Digging trenches
- Reading plans and blue prints.
- MCC install
- Motor wiring and control
- Operating power tools, equipment, and measuring and testing devices
- Troubleshooting and issues that arise

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Electrical Red Seal (required)
- Electrician Licence (preferred)
- Class 5 Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
