Scheduling Assistant/ Medical Office Support

Brantford, Canada Participation Support Services Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to Manager of Outreach and supervisors at each site to develop and maintain consistent schedules
- Input schedules, client/staff information into scheduling software
- Communicate schedules and scheduling changes to clients as needed
- Maintain client records in database.
- Provide support to managers & supervisors with shift replacements arising from staff vacations, statutory holidays, leaves of absence, and last-minute call-ins.
- Provide support to the managers with the hiring process (e.g., checking references).
- Provide support to executive director with monthly/quarterly/annual reporting
- Other duties such as filing, answering the door, answering phones, clerical work, etc.

**Qualifications**
- Clear and up to date (within the past 6 months) Vulnerable Sector Check conducted by the local police service
- COVID-19 Vaccination (fully vaccinated)
- Experience with data base/client management software
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- College Office Administration certificate an asset
- Experience with staff scheduling an asset

*This position is not eligible for provincial wage enhancement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: From $18.51 per hour

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

- Medical office: 1 year (preferred)
